Mother's Day was a surprisingly nice affair, with my white roses gleaming in the sunlight on my mother's antique sewing table in the solarium. If there's a better way to get a woman to be initially impressed with you than flowers, I'd love to see it, because it would knock my socks off. I think men have a problem seeing this. I have heard a number of men say something to the effect of "They're just flowers, they don't do anything and they'll die too soon." I'd like to correct any misinterpretation that every man out there may have about sending flowers. These are not valid reasons for not giving flowers. I don't get it. Do they come to these conclusions because they just don't talk to women at all? Flowers are the best way to impress a woman. Please re-read that last sentence. (Sarah U. , Weirton WV )

Living out of a suitcase I don’t often get the chance for flowers, but the receptionist in the hotel suggested I liven up a room booked at the last minute with some flowers from the foyer.
